Meet Information

Scoring:	No team scores.
Facilities:	The Vince Brown Track in CNU’s Freeman Center fieldhouse is a 6-lane 200m Mondo Super-X surface with two horizontal jumps pits, three pole vault pits (configuration dependent upon entries), and a wooden throwing circle.
Spikes:	¼” pyramid spikes only – no needle or “Christmas tree” spikes allowed. Shoes will be checked by the clerks. ¼” pyramid spikes will be available for sale.
Training Room:	A Certified Athletics Trainer will be on staff for the meet. If you are not traveling with a trainer, please supply your own taping materials and arrange any use of modalities in advance by calling Chris Jones at 757-594-7023
Locker Rooms:	Locker rooms will be available by prior request only.
Entries:	No entry limits planned. All entries must be done online at www.directathletics.com. You may make changes up until the closing deadline at 11:59 pm on the Monday prior to the meet. All entries at this point will be considered final and declared. Preliminary entry lists will be posted on the meet information site (staff.users.cnu.edu/twingard/cmeetindex.html ) by the Wednesday prior to the meet. Please submit scratches to me (twingard@cnu.edu or fax to 757-594-7839) by 5:00pm on the Thursday prior to the meet. Final heat sheets and schedules will be posted by the Friday prior to the meet.
Entry Fees:	$200 max per team (men and women separate). $20 per individual or relay. $20 for Heptathlon/Pentathlon entries (in addition to other entry fees). Please make checks payable to Christopher Newport University. These are ENTRY fees based on entries at the scratch deadline, regardless of actual participation. No-shows must pay their entry fees or they will be blocked from entering subsequent meets.
